Greenyard came to us with more than just a branding brief, they came with a bold ambition. The goal? To create a new brand from scratch in the fast-growing veggie space. A brand that wasn’t just about burgers or bites in the freezer aisle, but one that could stretch across categories: dips, spreads, soups, you name it. All made purely from vegetables.
But this wasn’t going to be just another “plant-based” option lost in a sea of green clichés. Greenyard wanted to break away from the typical health food tropes. They were ready to shake up the category. They had a name: PlanTasty. Now it needed an identity as bold as its ambition.
We leaned into the name and ran with it. PlanTasty became a celebration of veggies. Not as side dishes, but as main characters: full of flavour and personality. We created an identity that’s unapologetically loud, colourful, and full of energy. A bold brand with an instantly recognizable look, flexible packaging across formats, and a future-proof design system that’s ready to stretch across shelves and screens.
With such a wide range of product types, from bites and slices to upcoming dips and spreads, we knew the identity had to flex without losing its flavour. So we built a modular packaging system that adapts across formats while always staying unmistakably Plantasty. The website follows suit, bringing the brand to life online with playful motion, clear product storytelling, and a tone of voice that speaks directly to its audience. With our photography, we captured the energy of shared moments. Overhead shots of lively tables, hands reaching in, friends gathered around, bringing to life the enjoyment of PlanTasty.
The branding is inspired by vegetables in all their quirky, unfiltered glory. Our colour palette is pulled straight from the source: the punchy orange of carrots, the deep purple-red of beets, the golden glow of celeriac.
Each colour, a tribute to the real ingredients inside. We embraced the natural shapes of vegetables, giving them their moment through quirky silhouettes. Playful and imperfect, just like the veggies they represent.
