Corvinus University was ready to step into the 21st century. As one of the leading universities in the region, they had a clear ambition: to evolve their brand and attract students from around the world, while proudly showcasing their home city of Budapest. The challenge was to modernize the brand without losing its academic heritage, and to create an identity that felt international, inspiring, and distinctly Corvinus.
To truly understand the university, its culture, and its students, we immersed ourselves on the ground in Budapest experiencing campus life firsthand and gaining a deep understanding of what Corvinus stood for and where it wanted to go.
Building on our strategic groundwork, we refreshed the Corvinus identity while keeping the existing logo intact. We introduced a bold, youthful colour palette to bring new energy to the brand, and developed a raven in flight as a powerful symbol of flexibility, ambition, and strength.
The rebrand came to life across digital touchpoints, starting with a redesigned website that reflects the university’s forward-looking mindset. To complete the story, we travelled back to Budapest to produce a brand film that captures a year in the life of a Corvinus student. Through dynamic, cinematic snippets, the film showcases studying, campus atmosphere, student life, and the vibrant rhythm of Budapest itself, positioning Corvinus as a truly modern, international university rooted in a remarkable city.
